Forging Valve Components
Quality Forgings Fit Customer Specifications and Applications
Forging has been one of our main capabilities in producing metal parts for oil & gas and industrial applications. We forge materials of carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. According to features of product designs and requirements of various applications, Teamco uses both close-die hot forging and multi-directional hot forging. Our facility is equipped with heat treatment facilities which is one of the important factors makes us advantageous in accomplishing mechanical features assigned by customers.
Why Choose Forging?
Forging is one of the most reliable manufacturing processes for producing metal parts that require superior mechanical strength, structural integrity, and durability.
Compared with castings and fabricated components, forged parts offer:
- Improved mechanical strength and fatigue resistance
- Better grain flow and material integrity
- Reduced porosity and shrinkage defects
- Higher impact and pressure resistance
- Improved reliability in critical applications
- Longer service life in demanding environments
- Cost savings through near-net-shape manufacturing
For industries where safety, pressure containment, and durability are critical, forging remains the preferred manufacturing process.
How Teamco Helps OEM Customers SucceedEngineering Support from Design to ProductionOur engineering team works closely with customers during every stage of development. By evaluating product geometry, material requirements, machining allowances, and manufacturing feasibility, Teamco helps optimize designs for both performance and production efficiency. Benefits include:
•Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) support
•Material optimization
•Reduced machining requirements
•Improved production yield
•Lower overall manufacturing costs
•Stable quality during mass productionOur Forging Capabilities
Closed-Die Hot Forging
Teamco utilizes closed-die hot forging to manufacture components requiring excellent mechanical properties and dimensional consistency.
Typical applications include:
•Valve bodies
•Valve bonnets
•Valve accessories
•Mechanical equipment components
•Industrial hardware
•Sensor and instrumentation parts
Our forging production lines include presses ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons with a monthly capacity reaching 1,200 tons.
Multi-Directional Precision Forging
For complex geometries where material utilization and dimensional accuracy are critical, Teamco offers multi-directional hot forging technology.
Benefits include:
•Near-net-shape production
•Flashless forging
•Reduced material consumption
•Less machining operations
•Improved dimensional accuracy
•Shorter production cycles
This process is especially advantageous for floating ball valve bodies, valve caps, and specialized mechanical components.
