High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) is an advanced thermal spray coating process that uses a high-velocity, combustion-driven gas stream to accelerate fine powder particles, which are then deposited onto a substrate at speeds up to 2000 meters per second. This results in dense, durable coatings with exceptional wear, corrosion, and thermal resistance. The controlled combustion temperature (≤3000°C) ensures minimal oxidation and keeps the substrate temperature below 150°C, preventing deformation. HVOF creates a strong physical bond between the coating and substrate, offering superior bond strength, reduced porosity, and minimal thermal distortion.
